Creativity is inherent in all people, and creative people across all disciplines have always made objects, sounds, ideas and practices of profound beauty and utility. Yet despite our creative nature, few of us have the good fortune to be compensated for the things we make. For every artist who flourishes, there are thousands who never see a dime for their work.

We believe the mercurial and subjective quality of all created work is a feature - not a bug - and that the only gatekeeper to success should be the artist. ILYM seeks to steer the future of created work in a new direction, away from the stifling, traditional models of distribution that make it difficult for creatives to earn an income doing what they love. 

By fostering a diverse and inclusive community of creative people, we aim to connect creatives to the broadest possible audience with the goal of maximizing the value of their work. Web 3.0 technologies present unprecedented opportunities for creatives to control the distribution of what they make, and to offer those things to a global network of collectors, investors and fans on terms exclusive to each project.
